CNN: Poll: New Hampshire win rockets McCain to front-runner status
McCain has the support of 34 percent of registered Republicans in a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey out Friday. That’s a 21-point jump from the last CNN/Opinion Research poll, taken in December, well before the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary earlier this month.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who won the Iowa Republican caucuses, is in second place in the new survey, with 21 percent of those registered Republicans polled supporting him for the GOP nomination.

Vietnamveteranen John McCain er skudt til tops på listen over, hvilken republikansk præsidentkandidat, amerikanerne foretrækker.
Efter primærvalget i New Hampshire har han opbakning fra 34 procent af USA’s registrerede republikanske vælgere, viser en ny meningsmåling fra CNN.
Det er mere end en fordobling af de 13 procent, han havde i sidste måned.
New Yorks tidligere borgmester, Rudolph Giuliani, står til 18 procents opbakning, mens Mitt Romney ligger på en tredjeplads med 14 procent.
